1. Service Overview
Away Courier Express provides same-day and next-day parcel delivery services across the United Kingdom. By using our platform, you agree to these terms and conditions in full.
2. Pricing
All delivery prices are calculated based on distance between the collection and delivery postcodes. Pricing is tiered as follows:

For distances over 100 miles, pricing is calculated as the 81–100 mile base rate plus the per-mile overage rate for each additional mile.
3. Collection Timeframe
Upon successful booking and payment, collection will be arranged within 30 minutes to 2 hours of the booking time. Exact collection times may vary depending on courier availability and location.
4. Waiting Charges
A free waiting period of 30 minutes is provided at both the collection and delivery points. After the 30-minute free window, a waiting charge of £5 per minute will apply. This policy ensures efficient use of courier time and applies equally to collection and delivery locations.
5. Payment
All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Payment must be completed before collection is arranged. Prices are shown in GBP (£) and include all standard delivery charges. Additional charges (such as waiting fees) may be invoiced separately.
6. Cancellation Policy
Orders may be cancelled before collection has commenced. Once a courier has been dispatched, cancellation may not be possible and any applicable fees may still apply. To cancel an order, use the cancellation option in your account dashboard or contact us directly.
7. Special Services
We offer specialised delivery services including:
- Multi-Drop Deliveries: Multiple deliveries in a single run, ideal for businesses. Pricing is quote-based.
- LWB / XLWB Vehicles: Long Wheel Base and Extra Long Wheel Base van deliveries for larger items.
- Pallet Deliveries: Palletised goods transport with appropriate vehicles and handling.
These services require a custom quote. Submit a request through our booking form and our team will respond with pricing within 24 hours.
8. Liability
Away Courier Express takes reasonable care in handling and delivering parcels. However, we recommend that senders ensure adequate packaging. We are not liable for damage caused by inadequate packaging. Claims for loss or damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
9. Privacy & Data
Personal information collected during booking is used solely for the purpose of arranging and tracking deliveries. We do not share your data with third parties except where necessary for delivery fulfilment. Email notifications are sent for booking confirmations, payment receipts, and delivery status updates.
